Abba, I enter Your Presence expectantly this day. I seek Your peace, a renewed sense that I am held secure in Your care. Recently my heart has become unsettled; questions rising that resist simple answers. I am enduring an apparent silence of Heaven that leaves me seeking solace in other things. Oh, Lord, speak anew!
Let me hear You speak to the storm – “Peace, be still!”
With the Psalmist I pray -
"I am always with You; You hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward You will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
(Psalm 73:23-26, NIV)
Many in my circle of acquaintances are in crisis time, Lord
Jesus.
Be the healer of the sick, the restorer of the broken, the hope for those who
despair, the joy of those overwhelmed by the darkness, and the Savior of us
all. Jesus, be the Lord of all!
Spirit of God lead the way this new week, showing the path
clearly by Your light.
Teach me to live in love, to rest in grace, and to endure difficult times with
patience.
For the glory of Your Name, I pray. Amen.
